The Research Network Center «Human, Environment & Technology» (HumaNet) of University of Tyumen welcomes proposals from scholars to participate in the interdisciplinary conference “Everything changes: climate, society, landscapes in historical perspective” which will be held in Tyumen, Russia on 12-14 November, 2020.
Papers as well as panels should fall within, but are not necessarily limited to, the following areas:
- Siberia and Eurasia in the Anthropocene era,
- Changeable landscapes,
- How social sciences and humanities treat with landscapes and climate change,
- Climate change: the natural sciences and the humanitarian dimension,
- Society and pandemics: the global and local dimensions.
The official languages of the conference are both Russian and English. Abstracts could be written in English or in Russian (no more than 400 words). Also applicants should submit CV with author’s name, institutional affiliation, and contact information.

We will be able to cover some travel costs and lodging of most participants. In your letter, please indicate an approximate estimate of travel costs if relevant.
